Experimenting With Canva

Because we planned to reuse the idea of "Dragonfly" as our magazine, we decided to start our magazine project planning by taking a moment to figure out what programs we would use to design it. Our teacher recommend  Canva, a website for graphic design, to create our title. He also mentioned Picsart, a website and app that edits images. We made an account on Canva to experiment with the different features of the magazine. On Canva, we discovered that it had magazine templates.

The template that stood out to us was a template called "Thirteen." The font of the cover was the closest to the font we used for "Dragonfly." The font is elegant, yet animated to depict how this magazine is meant for young adults. It is also bold, yet it allows for other elements of the cover to be seen as well.
